Santa Cruz Beach is located on Monterey Bay directly south of the city center.  The white sand beach is popular with families and tourists.

The Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk stretches along the beachfront.

Tourists looking to relax on a quieter stretch of beach can relax at Cowell Beach or Natural Bridges Beach, both of which are located west side of the Santa Cruz Municipal Wharf.
